"Becky was so sweet and supportive. We met a few times before my "due date" but kept in close contact, because although I wanted a more natural approach to my birth plan, right after our first meeting I started having complication after complication. Becky was always so thorough. We discussed options and adjusted my birth plan as needed as we went along, assuring me that she would be there as much as possible, not knowing if she would be able to be present in the operating room if we happened to have a C-section.
I did in fact end up in an emergency C-section and Becky was able to accompany me into the operating room, and I couldn't have been more thankful. From her letting me sob on her shoulder while getting my spinal, rubbing my head while my spouse was tending to our new baby, reminding me to focus on my breathing, and playing any music I wanted during the entire procedure – she was a wonderful addition to our birthing team! She did a hospital visit and a home visit within the first week, brought us goodies and a yummy dinner, helped us with newborn questions, and answered questions I had about my birthing experience. With this being my first, and more than likely my only pregnancy, I am so thankful I reached out to Becky and was able to have her be a part of my journey - she made such a huge amazing impact on my overall experience."

"We were so blessed to have Becky guide us on the journey through our first pregnancy! My partner was skeptical of the necessity of having a Doula join our birth team; “People have been having kids for thousands of years. We’ll figure it out.”…he said. We’re now starting to make plans for our second child and HE suggested we ask Becky to join us again! She was such an amazing asset to us as we navigated this new territory. Not only did she help us understand the process of what was changing and happening in my body, but also reassured us both of the thoughts and feelings we were experiencing and encouraged us to be open and honest with each other throughout.
And once the big day finally came, she was an incredible asset in supporting both of us but also advocating on our behalf! Making sure that we understood our options and paused to remind us that it was our choice if there was anything suggested by the medical team that deviated from our birth plan. We are forever grateful for her having played such an integral role in this most joyous occasion – she has our full recommendation for all of those considering a Doula. Thank you, Becky!"

"Becky was amazing and so helpful! She made my labor process so much easier, eased my anxiety and fears and just helped me every step of the way. I labored for 36 hours and her support was everything to me. She is so sweet and kind I was very thankful to be able to have her support, I literally could have not done it without her. So thank you Becky for the amazing work that you do!"

"I truly cannot recommend Becky enough. She helped me prep mentally for birth, was there for me when I needed it the most, and has been a source of support in postpartum. Becky helped me labor at home for nearly 6 hours before we went to the hospital, and helped me labor there for a few hours before getting an epidural - I believe that she was a big reason why I was able to progress so far before the epidural, and ultimately is a big reason why the birth went as smoothly as it did. She was an advocate and cheerleader for me when I wasn’t in a place to be those things for myself. She also made it a point to get to know not only me, but my partner, and was a source of support for both of us leading up to the birth, during the birth, and after the birth; I was so grateful that she was able to help improve his experience, as well! I can truly say that having Becky as our doula was one of the best decisions we made regarding our birth experience, especially as a first time mom!"

"Since the moment I talked with Becky on the phone I knew that I wanted her as my doula, since the beginning she was super sweet and understanding, As a first time mom I was scared, nervous, anxious and had many questions but Becky slowly helped me with all that, I knew that I could call/text Becky in the middle of the night and she would answer. I was scared of having a bad experience giving birth, but my support group and Becky helped me have the best and most beautiful birth experience. Lastly, I want to thank Becky for helping me in every way possible, for being there for me when I wasn’t sure if I was doing something right with my baby or when I needed someone to talk to."

"Don’t even know where to start! Nothing really went as expected or planned. However, not only had Becky taken the time to get to know me and ask me what I wanted my birth experience to be like but she got to know my husband and what calmed him and helped him in stressful situations. I got to share about what makes me comfortable, what encourages me, and what makes me..me. We went through alternative pain management options, different birthing positions, and other tools that could help my team and I have a safe and successful birthing experience. Because of that, everything was tailored to exactly what I wanted. My baby girl was welcomed into this world with love, positivity, and peace. In my moments of pain and panic I was met with kindness and encouragement. Becky truly made me believe in myself and my ability to deliver my baby on my own even when the epidural was no longer an option. It was the single most scary and beautiful moment of my life and I would never change that. I could never thank Becky enough."

"Me and my husband are both so grateful we chose Becky as our support person; she was truly what we both needed throughout the entire labor and delivery process! She was present as I advocated for myself in choosing a VBAC. Becky helped put my husband at ease; she gave him the breaks he needed and showed him ways he could help me. He's told me many times it was a relief to have her there.
Ultimately, I was able to finally have the birth that I had always dreamed of: I was able to successfully have a VBAC. I have no regrets in the choices I made, including choosing Becky! It made me wish I had had a doula for my previous births!"

"Even before I found out I was pregnant with my second son, I knew I wanted a doula. While my first birth was still wonderful, I knew a doula could make it everything I wanted. After interviewing half a dozen doulas, we met Becky! Her positive and calm spirit was a perfect fit for us.
When labor finally started and I needed some support, Becky knew exactly what to do. She helped with hip squeezes and position changes at my home. When it was hospital time, she helped calm my panicked husband. At the hospital, she kept both me and my husband calm and reminded me of my birth plan when I started to panic. Her level-headed and gentle reminders were just what I needed. She also did an incredible job of making the room cozy. She knew the perfect music to play and set out candles, which helped me feel relaxed. Because of her, I got the unmedicated birth I had been dreaming of. My husband and I both agree we could not have done it without Becky! She was exactly what we needed and perfectly supported us."
