Babies are really good at navigating their way through the pelvis, and they have more ease doing so when we create more space and balance. The Spinning Babies® approach focuses on balance, gravity, and movement within the body and with baby. Your Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Class will include: 

  • Overview of anatomy in pregnancy and birth, including ideas for lengthening and softening muscle tissue, ligaments, and fascia
  • Daily activities you can practice to enhance comfort during pregnancy and facilitate ease during birth
  • The Three Balances℠
  • Rest Smart℠
  • Practice with identifying labor patterns and Invitations to Act during labor to help find ease and comfort for both you and your baby
  • Various labor positions to help open the pelvic inlet, mid-pelvis, and outlet
  • Ideas for bonding with your baby in pregnancy, including an introduction to Belly Mapping

Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Group Classes

In collaboration with Silver Falls Family Support and Compass Perinatal Family and Community Support, I am very proud to be offering FREE  Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Class to families in the Marion-Polk area on a monthly basis.

Time commitment: 3.5 hours
Class Cost: FREE (The majority of these spaces this year are reserved for individuals who reside in the Marion-Polk region and cannot afford our regular registration fee ($147) - this class is FREE to you and you are our priority!)
Location: Silverton and Salem
When to take this class: Anytime after the first trimester, and the earlier the better so you can build a daily practice that facilitates ease and comfort in pregnancy and birth

Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Private Classes

As a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator, I am pleased to offer private Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Classes in the comfort of your own home!  I provide all the materials. All you need to do is invite your partner(s) or other support folks over, and we'll spend a couple hours learning more about the pregnant body, baby's movements, and how we can invite Balance, Gravity, and Movement℠ into your pregnancy and birthing experience.

Time commitment: 3 hours
Private Class Cost: $157 (Please note I charge a $25 travel fee per visit if located more than 25 miles from Silverton. If cost is a barrier, please let me know and I am happy to offer sliding scale rates)
Location: Your home 
When to take this class: Anytime after the first trimester, and the earlier the better so you can build a daily practice that facilitates ease and comfort in pregnancy and birth
